Collectives — Monthly letter written together

Writing alone can feel like speaking into empty space. It can quickly become discouraging. But when many writings come together, a livelier exchange often follows. Voices may begin to sync, to complete one another, even to overlap.

I’d like to bring such writings into a collective letter — to unite different emotional states, to relate to one another, and to remind us that what feels joyful or solitary is, at its core, a common human experience.

At the end of each month, I’ll gather a handful of notes or letters from Eirene Cafe’s virtual letterbox and send them back to you as one piece — a story composed by many hands, a collective message for a world that too often feels deaf and void.

Sign with your name, your initials, or stay anonymous — whatever feels right for you — and send your words through a simple form by clicking on the letterbox.

Epistolaries — Reviving the handwritten exchange

Alongside the collective letter, I’m planting the seeds for something slower, more intimate: handwritten correspondence. A pen pal experiment for those who want to experience, or re-experience, the quiet magic of receiving a letter in the mail.

The process is deliberately simple for now: a protected Google document where you can add a short bio and indicate how you’d like to be contacted to exchange addresses. From there, you can choose—or be chosen—for a correspondence.

No algorithms, no instant replies. Just ink, paper, and the slow unfolding of trust across distance and time.
